What does 'outcome-based' actually mean for pricing?
We agree the business outcome first — a specific, measurable result like 'launch the customer portal generating £X of new ARR' or 'cut onboarding time from 12 days to 2'. Then we agree a fixed fee for delivering that outcome. You're not paying for hours, sprints, or deliverables; you're paying for the result. If we can't deliver, we don't get paid in full.
How is this different from a typical management consultancy?
Most consultancies sell decks, frameworks, and recommendations — the implementation is your problem. We ship the implementation. Every engagement ends with running production code or a working system, not a slide deck. We also use AI-native engineering throughout the analysis phase, which makes our discovery and recommendations dramatically cheaper than a Big Four equivalent.
Do you offer strategy-only engagements?
Yes, but they're rare and time-boxed. A typical 'strategy-only' engagement is a 1–2 week AI readiness assessment that produces a concrete roadmap with sized engagements and decision gates — not a 60-page deck. We'll be honest if your situation calls for a different kind of advisor.
What size of organisation do you work with?
Most engagements are with ambitious small-to-mid-sized companies (10–500 employees) and engineering-led teams inside larger organisations. We are not the right firm for organisations that need a 50-person delivery team — we're the right firm if you want a small, senior, AI-augmented team shipping high-leverage outcomes quickly.
How do you handle non-disclosure and data sensitivity?
We sign mutual NDAs and DPAs as a matter of course. Sensitive material can be reviewed on your infrastructure rather than ours; AI model access can be routed through your accounts (so data never leaves your contracted boundary); and we maintain ISO-aligned access controls internally. We are working towards Cyber Essentials Plus and SOC 2 attestation — happy to share the current state on request.
What's the minimum engagement size?
Our smallest engagement is the 1–2 week 'show, don't tell' sprint: a fixed-price, tightly-scoped delivery of one high-value piece of work. It's designed as a real-world trial — you get a shipped outcome at the end whether or not we continue together.
